Manhattan Beach lives forever...friends forever....

Manhattan Beach lives forever because of friends forever....and so the day started with a tearful hug at LAX, they were friends of 50 years and the last time they saw each other was 2004! and so the story continued from the car to breakfast at Coco's. They were with Jette's sister who just turned 55 and voila! Club 55 breakfast is served, that is their order had a concession for seniors...hahaha...Cholah dropped them off at the Marriott hotel - their room was perfect for them to take up the rest of the conversation, there were multiple beginnings and endings. A lot of laughs and tears. A lot of hugs and taps on the shoulder. The stories went on ..

Indeed, it was a perfect weekend, a gift from God, as He put order in our plans so we can catch up, bond, share our joys, pains and testimonies of God's love in our lives. It's so awesome to spend time, though short with a sister who loves and share the same passion for the Lord. It was a great time to see old neighbors and aging relatives to wish them well, pray and bid them goodbye, hoping to see them again.
Though we didn't see the beach as originally intended, the never ending chats on the bed, the walks to and from the mall, the stories and laugther as we enjoyed cocktail summer drinks and share an angus burger and the company inside one fitting room, getting approval for what dress fits us well (I miss that, huhuhu) and just relaxing and carefree, laughing as we rewind the day's events while waiting fro Van, who we didn't know was waiting for 30 mins outside the hotel. These are a few of those precios and priceless moments I can't forget and will always remember of my fabulous, special and dear FF friend, Junette (aka Purplette, who I praise God for for being a special part of my life. I long to see all FFF get together soon, We Miss you Jacqui,Marlo and Lucille. Joyful Plumeria
