the length of life

one psalmist has aptly put it...life is like a vapour…..indeed, in this blog, I wish to say thanks to three significant women in my life, my three sisters. The first daughter in the family has been like a second mother to me, she helped my parents a great deal as being in a family of nine can put so much stress on our mother if she has to shoulder everything by herself, my sister married quite late in her years as she selflessly put her time for us when she is not also giving of her self as a nurse in a major children's hospital. Her children are now adults and I'm sure blessed to have her as their mother. My second sister is one real generous spirit as she is the one who helped me finish my schooling. She is the life in any party, very bubbly and thus when she was struck with Breast cancer; she refused to let anything get in the way of her recovery. She remained positive and unbeknownst to her, through her own ordeal she ministered to me when I was recovering from my surgery too. My third sister who is only a few years older than me, has the most wonderful capacity of being idealistic but at the same time quite down to earth. We shared the same level of humour that as young girls I vividly remember the troubles we get ourselves in! To all three, I owe you a debt of gratitude! Thank you for loving me inspite of my faults. I love you.
