angry songs - to sing or not to sing ?

today I am propelled to write about women with angry songs .....

well, I have my regular sojourn to the gyms for my exercise physiology meetings and as I push my body to be active for the purpose of strengthening my muscles and increasing their flexibility, there I am being "assaulted" with MTV shows.

I used the word "assaulted" because it suddenly dawned on me that there is a huge majority of songs out there that is preoccupied with anger - implied or otherwise. Take for example one MTV that shows this "pink" person( I don't know why she picked such a delicate color because I think she is quite masculine) who thinks it is her absolute right to be angry and sets out to destroy a newly wed's car or to injure a neighbor by cutting a tree and letting it fall on top of him! and she shouts (she does not sing) "so what" or "who cares"!

in another MTV, poor britney with the identity crisis and self-esteem disorder, accuses a guy (presumably husband/lover) of being a womanizer (sang this words more than 30 times I think) but played the vengeful wife/girlfriend to a "victimized" man - thus, ending up being the aggressor! and she wonders why he seeks comfort in another woman!

and then this pretty (but I believe very confused) girl who declares that there is nothing sweet about her, so I wonder does she think this is her best display of character? perhaps maybe, the word "sweet" depicts weakness in women? and what weakness is this that she sings about? does she really think she can identify womanhood as "not sweet"? does she want to describe women as sour and bitter then? I would certainly disagree !

what is happening to the moral values of women nowadays, why do we let such rubbish enter our mentality? why do we look up to these people as role models? they choose not to be the ezers that God has designed them to be! After previously writing a blog about God's ultimate description of the kenegdo ezer-woman, I am stunned to see that it is just plain and simple human nature that we go the opposite way and declare in rebellion - "so what, there's nothing sweet about us, all men are womanizers!" - these songs seem to say..."God is a liar and there's no beauty in being a woman!"

Pity. ?

I still cling on to the confidence that I am God's design, His choice, His masterpeice and draw hope from this, that womanhood can be recovered!

We should be so one with God that we don’t need to ask continually for guidance. Sanctification means that we are made the children of God. A child’s life is normally obedient, until he chooses disobedience. But as soon as he chooses to disobey, an inherent inner conflict is produced. On the spiritual level, inner conflict is the warning of the Spirit of God. When He warns us in this way, we must stop at once and be renewed in the spirit of our mind to discern God’s will (see Romans12:2 ). If we are born again by the Spirit of God, our devotion to Him is hindered, or even stopped, by continually asking Him to guide us here and there. ". . . the Lord led me . . ." and on looking back we see the presence of an amazing design. If we are born of God we will see His guiding hand and give Him the credit. We can all see God in exceptional things, but it requires the growth of spiritual discipline to see God in every detail. Never believe that the so-called random events of life are anything less than God’s appointed order. Be ready to discover His divine designs anywhere and everywhere.Beware of being obsessed with consistency to your own convictions instead of being devoted to God. If you are a saint and say, "I will never do this or that," in all probability this will be exactly what God will require of you. There was never a more inconsistent being on this earth than our Lord, but He was never inconsistent with His Father. The important consistency in a saint is not to a principle but to the divine life. It is the divine life that continually makes more and more discoveries about the divine mind. It is easier to be an excessive fanatic than it is to be consistently faithful, because God causes an amazing humbling of our religious conceit when we are faithful to Him.

The secret is this: I have learned there is little I can do in my life that will make me truly happy. I must depend on God to make me happy and meet my needs. When a need arises in my life, I have to trust God to supply according to HIS riches. I have learned most of the time I don't need half of what I think I do. HE has never let me down.
