“Island Paradise Resort” (from my review in Trip Advisor)

Upon entering the hotel's open foyer with intricate roof designs, I knew I liked this resort right away. Although the warm winds permeated the resort entrance, you can wait inside the big air-conditioned lounges, there were 2 of them!The rooms are clean and neat, overlooking either the swimming pools or the open foyer. It was great that it was located centrally in Patong Beach, just across the beach area, accessible to the markets and walking distance to the restaurants and the evening entertainments. So it was a nice walk to just about everywhere! Otherwise the tuktuks are always available in every corner. Reception personnel were also accommodating and very helpful. Breakfast menu had excellent variety. We took the James Bond(Pha Nga) Island tour and that completed our 3 days of paradise. All up I would highly recommended this resort. Just one con - the resort spa prices were a bit steep.
