a hostile takeover

makes me think, hostile takeover- what could be more appropriate to call that time when we were unsaved and refused to heed God's gentle invitation, now is the time we take our mind back from the Enemy, who did a hostile takeover at one point in our life. surely, we did enjoy our futile and foolish thinking, in Isaiah 65:2, it says "I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts--"
what does this mean then? when we are filled with ungodly thoughts, that is not glorifying to God, and we continue to believe the lie that we are unworthy of what Jesus paid for at the cross, unworthy to be considered as His adopted, unworthy to be empowered and to be called "more than conquerors", we ended up living miserable, false, and defeated lives.

And now we take control!
"12For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the [a]breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart."
Hebrews 4:12

..with the weapons and tools from the Spirit of All-Truth!
"Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you." Luke 10:19

For the rest, brethren, whatever is TRUE, whatever is worthy of REVERENCE and is HONORABLE and seemly, whatever is JUST, whatever is PURE, whatever is LOVELY and LOVABLE, whatever is KIND and WINSOME and GRACIOUS , if there is any VIRTUE and EXCELLENCE, if there is anything worthy of PRAISE, think on and weigh and take account of these things [FIX your minds on them]. Philippians 4:8

and we lay claim to this: 2 Timothy1:7: "7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of CALM and WELL-BALANCED mind and discipline and self-control."

For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment: Luke 1:37

Ah! a well-balanced sound mind is given by no less than the Giver of all Good things.
