King of the ages

in God's time….
we keep saying, in God's time, as I mature I come to understand this more than when I was younger, take for example our Understanding of God's Time and His Timing. It is outside of human nature to see things beyond the physical realm. When we cannot perceive events more than what our five senses are capable of, it throw us into confusion, conflict and utter consternation.

I quote….

This is a definite limitation when we discover signs that pose the possibility of the existence of another dimension, other than the one we are all familiar with.

Consider this: God is Eternal.
"God Is; He has always been; He has no beginning, nor an end"

What significance would time be to our Holy Father? None. For He is eternal, ageless and cannot be limited by time or any other dimensions.

In II Peter 3:8, we are told that to God, a day is as a thousand years to us. Could we suppose then that a 'year' to our Father could be as a thousand centuries to us, and a thousand years as a thousand millenniums? It kind of makes one feel small doesn't it? And it should.

How God could have no beginning or end, we can never begin to explain, so in our limited human capacity, we fumble for words to describe Him, in the song "God of Ages" (Hillsong Music)- we declare....God of Ages… you are all I see… you are my everything.. you are forever, majesty - simply because we can never grasp or fathom or even define who God is...

One of the characters of God describing Him, my favorite one is the title Wonderful, By definition, Wonderful means to excite wonder or admiration; surprising; strange; astonishing. All over the Bible - in both the Old Testament and New Testament - whatever the version, they are all consistent in using the word "wonderful" like -
the wonderful love, wonderful deeds and wonderful acts of God, His wonderful works, wonderful knowledge and wonderful law
Among Jesus' many titles are "Wonderful" and "Counselor"--two words that best describe Him and His saving work in our lives.

Isaiah 28:29
All this also comes from the LORD Almighty, wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom
Wow.

Revelation 15:2-4 (New International Version)
2And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and over the number of his name. They held harps given them by God 3and sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:
"Great and marvelous are your deeds,
Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
King of the ages.
4Who will not fear you, O Lord,
and bring glory to your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
and worship before you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed."
