"most commonly and easily injured but the most difficult to treat.." my physiotherapist was assuring me as I told her of my woes about a post-operative complication that I am barely coping at the moment. " bear with me as I try to work out the scars.." saying on my previous visit it was almost as hard as stone but now she comments that my tendinits was improving, she was very comforting but my frustration showed as I asked her about scars and the fact that shouldn't they be helpful and beneficial to a post-repaired shoulder. "aren't they supposed to be the regenerating evidence" and she agreed in part because according to her, in some parts of the body like the ligaments, it has a strengthening quality but in between muscular layers and tendons , it could cause severe pain and inflammation.
i wondered. isn't that like in us, when our hearts harden with scars of sin, that's why in the book of Ezekiel, the Lord wanted to change their hearts of stones into hearts of flesh, the goodness and mercy of our Lord will not allow hearts of stone ( that is a lot of scars)to get in the way of redemption. Our hearts have to a "fleshly" consistency. "harden not your heart" and so be able to hear the Lord clearly, His word is what we need to hear and follow ....

Scars can be good, a memorable moment. But if the impression is severe its only telling you otherwise that it is bad.
Get better mum (in terms of mobility)
